3PL Placement

Find the right 3PL — without kissing a hundred frogs

Most brands waste months vetting warehouses that were never the right fit. We hand you a short list that actually matches your operation.

The problem with finding a 3PL

Picking a third-party logistics warehouse the usual way is brutal: a dozen intro calls, a stack of proposals that all look the same, and a gut decision you second-guess for a year. Brands lose months on it — time that could have gone into actually selling product.

Worse, most 3PL breakups trace back to a mismatch that was visible up front. A warehouse that was too small. A tech stack that couldn't integrate. A price that looked great until the accessorial fees showed up. The vetting work exists to catch those mismatches before you sign — but only if you know what to look for.

That's the part we do for a living. We keep a vetted network, we know the right questions, and because the shipper pays us — not the 3PL — our shortlist is built around your fit, not someone's referral fee.

How it works

How BRS runs a placement

  1. 01

    Needs assessment

We map your real requirements — volume, SKUs, handling, geography, systems — before talking to anyone.

  2. 02

    Vetted shortlist

We pull two to three warehouses from our network that genuinely fit, and explain why each made the cut.

  3. 03

    Intro calls

We set up and sit in on the conversations, so you're comparing apples to apples instead of sales pitches.

  4. 04

    Negotiation & onboarding

We help you negotiate terms and SLAs, then stay through onboarding and go-live.

What we evaluate

What actually separates 3PLs

  • Location — close to your inbound port and your customers
  • Capacity — room to grow, not just room for today
  • Tech stack & WMS — does their system talk to yours cleanly?
  • Specialty handling — and whether they really do it or just say so
  • Pricing structure — per-pick and storage fees, not just the headline rate
  • SLAs — and whether they'll put them in writing

Who we serve

Industries we know

We work best with importers moving real volume through real warehouses: home goods, baby and juvenile products, housewares, and general B2B importers. If your product ships in containers and lives on pallets, we can probably help you place it.

We're not a fit for everyone — if you need a niche cold-chain or hazmat operation we don't have vetted, we'll tell you straight rather than force a bad match.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Most placements run two to four weeks from kickoff to a signed agreement, versus the three-to-six months brands typically spend doing it alone. We move faster because we start from a vetted network instead of cold outreach.
